Horse Expression, What’s Your Horse Saying?

Yes, horses have a language of their own, & unfortunately several of us aren’t as aware of it whether we should be.  It is a big mistake to not to understand their language, whether it could signify troubles for usa in the long run.  Every swivel of the ear(s), hip movement, tail flick & facial expression means something.  This is the language horses reason to speak to other horses & to usa – when just we would listen.

We need to know what OUR body language says to them first before we could know them.  Flapping arms while trying to discover the halter on would cause concern. Running at them in a pasture rather than walking up to them calmly can make them consider -  predator chasing me. We’ve all heard about bombproof horses – sorry, there is not any such point.  Something, some occasion would spook your horse – any horse.
In the meantime, remain your body language quiet, slow, fluent & calm.  If you’re calm, this assists your horse remain calm.

Horses talk to united states of america through all body parts & that includes the front and back end.  Both ends could cause united states untold grief when we don’t pay attention to what they’re saying.  Such as, most of united states of america understand that when a horse possesses both ears pinned back flat something is truly wrong.  Probability are they’re either frightened or angry.  In most cases it is anger.  So watch the front & rear very carefully.  Caution is great though wheter you consider the horse may be listening to something behind them or bored.  When you truly understand your horse well, you will understand what the ears are saying.

Ears perked up and forward indicate they are focusing their attention on something and are either up to several mischief or they’re on high alert about something they see, listen or smell.  Remind your horse you require his attention, especially wheter you’re riding & the ears whip forward.
